Maqsooda S. Sarfi, Ph.D. in Mongolian Contemporary History, is an active scholar in the field and has quite a number of publications on Mongolia at her hand. Born and brought up in Kashmir, India. Dr. Sarfi is presently a citizen of Japan and runs business, which gives her exposure to wider sections of Japanese and Indian societies. Besides running business in Japan, she is also a social activist and has received Governor’s Award for her cultural and social work.
